My grandfathers house was on Balsom
road. It was a big 2 story green house on the right and Uncle
Wallace lived right on the corner in front of the United Church.
At one time the Balsom family owned all the land out on that
point and part of it was later sold to Irving Oil where the big
tanks are. Grandfather's two sisters lived in the same area and
then Uncle Eph lived next to the old medical centre on the lower
road and Uncle Roland lived on the other side of the point.
