Donald Pelley, son of Mr and Mrs Samuel Pelley re- cently spent a day home to visit his relatives and friends before leaving for Regina, Sask. where he will train for the R.C.M.P. Donald was accompanied home by Miss Effie Hodder.

Mrs. Elijah Polley and daughter, Dusan of St. John's recently visited Mrs. Pelley's mother, Mrs. Maude Goodyear.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs. George Stevenson on the birth of a baby boy on Apr. 13th and to Mr. and Mrs, Medley Polley on the birth of a baby girl on Apr. 23rd. Both babies wore born at Walwyn Hospital.

Friends of Mr, Robert Stevenson and Mr. Richard Brampton are sorry to hear that both gentlemen are in Hospital at St. John's. We wish them a speedy recovery

Mrs. Joe Dalton, District RcPravontL`LtiV0 Jubilee Guilds attended a meeting at St. John's on April 28 & 29, in connection with Guild work,

Mr. Stuart King and family of Trinity East have taken up residence here. Mr. King has started the building of a now home.

Mr. and Mr. Pat Bannister, Port Rexton spent master Sunday visiting Mrs. Bannister’s aunt, Mrs. Sarah Bugden. They were accompanied By Mrs. Elsie Barnes who spent Easter wee with Mr. and Mrs. Baxtear Goodyear

Home for the Easter holidays were Blanche Hayward, Lloyd Hyde, and Baxter Pelley and also visting were Mr. and Mrs. Az Smith who reside in Grand Falls

The U.C.W. sponsored a home delivery supper on Apr. 21st. Proceeds were in aid of the new church.
