A birthday party was held at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Short for her son-in-law Mr. Fred Short, on May 3rd A good timed was had by all.

We welcome Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Green and son to our Community. They have moved here from Adeyton and are settled in their new home.

Congratulations .to Mr. Mark Stanley who celebrates his 84th birthday on May 27th.

A baby girl was born to 11±. and Mrs. Baxter Adams at Walwyn Hospital on May 2nd and a boy to r and Mrs. Thomas Hibbs at the same hospital.

Mr. Raymond Osmond,. Sinister in charge hero has a two months leave of absence due to illness. Mr. Boyd Vincent will relieve for that period.

Visiting Milton were Iris March ands Wesley Adams from Ganders who were guests of Wesley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Adams and Mr. and Mrs Tom Tilley of Grand Falls, who visited relatives and friends here

Selina Stanley has gone to St. John's where she has found employment

Daphne Bursey, U.C teacher spent the Easter holidays with her parents at Lower Island Cove.

Explorers, Glenda Bailey, Joyce Cooper ands Wilma Carberry accompanied by their counselor, Mrs. Joe Tilley, visited the Reid Home at Clarenville during Easter week and presented Neta Hayward, a patient, with Easter gifts.
