The United Church was the scene of a pretty wedding when Myrtle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Brown became the bride of Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Newman Brenton.

The bride was attended by her sister. Blanche ands, Susie. The groom was assisted by, Stan Brown and Roland Brenton.

The reception was held at the home of the groom, where the couple are now residing.

A stork shower was held for Elsie, Mrs. Bax Adams, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Les Jacobs. Mrs. Adams is living at Milton.

Pastor Raymond Callahan spent two weeks in Labrador' City where he conducted special services.

Mr. Samuel Cooper recently attended the wedding of his daughter, Maureen, who was married at Stephenville on April 17th.

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Butt are the proud parents of a baby girl born at Walwyn Hospital on April 30th.

Alvina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newman Brenton, has returned home from Texas. It is understood her husband has taken up duties at Stephenville Airforces Base and that Alvina will spend some time with her parents. Her little boy saw snow for the first time when they arrived a few weeks ago.

Visitors for Easter were: Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Robson and family of St. John's, guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Butt, parents of Mrs. Robson - Lester Warren and Pearl Soper, who are attending Memorial University - Everett Soper and Raymond Bailey, attending High school at Clarenville - Calvin Baker, attending Deer Lake High school -Karen Norris, student at Foxtrap - Vicky Norris teaching
