ADEYTOWN

Congratulations and best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. John Adey on the occasion of their 59th wedding anniversary. They were married on May 22nd. 1906 by Rev. Edwin Moore. Sincere wishes for many more years of health and happy- nests.

Word has been received of thee gassing in Montreal on April 20th Hof Franks E. Swetland, beloved husband of Phoebe Adey, formerly of Adeytown.

Severally of the people from this community visited the Primary room of the U.C. _School ate Deep Bight to see a display of articles made for the Junior Red Cross by the pupils some of whom are from Adeytown. Their teacher, Mrs. Ivy Clarke, also of Adeytown and all them pupils are to be highly commended for the splendid work done.

The men of the community have been busy in recant days making repairs to and painting the exterior of the church.

MILTON 4-H PROJECT

The 4-H Mayfair Club of Milton held an afternoon tea and bake sale in the school on April 24th. The sum of $45.00 was raised and this will go toward a bus shelter, their immunity unity project for this year.
